Our Accreditations & Memberships

We are BAFE accredited for Service & Maintenance of Portable Fire Extinguishers. This certifies our activities for fire extinguisher servicing and maintenance to SP101and BS5306-3 and BS5306-8. BAFE develops schemes to support quality standards for fire protection companies to achieve and become third party certified. This independently acknowledges their competency to provide specific fire protection services. 

BAFE is completely independent and therefore is a totally unbiased party to help competent companies and people in need of fire protection services find each other. There are registered companies across the UK and are both large nationals and smaller regional businesses who have all achieved the same high-quality standards.

ISO 9001:2015 accreditation shows our commitment to maintaining the absolute highest standards within our management system & practices and this is reflected by our certification.

To achieve this, we demonstrated our ability to provide consistent, reliable service, with a focus on customer satisfaction, and continue to strive for continuous growth and improvement throughout the business. 

We are proud members of the Fire Industry Association. This shows our commitment to maintaining the highest standards at all times with the quality of service we deliver in every discipline.
Being members of the FIA also gives Kings Fire access to the absolute latest information regarding the fire protection industry, standards and fire safety law.  

Our Technicians also receive industry leading training through the FIA training courses. 

In order to achieve accreditation from SafeContractor Kings Fire has had to constantly demonstrate our commitment to adhering to all relevant Health & Safety guidelines and practices. 

Kings Fire are proud affiliates of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM). This is in addition to our Managing Director Darren King having Membership status (MIFSM)

The Institute of Fire Safety Managers is a professional body of highly respected individuals and companies who all share the same objective.

Kings Fire joined the Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce in 2024. Since then we have been finalists in the business awards winning gold locally and also regionally for High Growth Business of the Year.
